This construction for the upper half-plane model is to replace the original tool called ‘Compass’ in Cabri Geometry II.

Given:

Three points P1, P2 and P3 in the upper half-plane.

To Construct:

The u-circle with center P1 and radius defined by P2 and P3 (with congruence for distance in non-Euclidean geometry).

    1.           First, construct the mirror u-line m of P1 and P2 (see Figure 18).

    2.           Let P3' be the inverse of P3 with respect to m. The u-circle with center P1 (in non-Euclidean sense) and P3' on its circumference is the desired object.
